Amazing textures
Just lovely flowers-- tucking these poppies in with green grass fields for a classy touch of color.
At 1LI per 'cluster' you can't beat them.
Had there been mention of the LI in the product description, I would have chosen something else.
Had I chosen something else, I would have missed out on the richness of these flowers.
Doing a little unlinking (and deleting of the grassy undergrowth prims) can reduce the 15LI of the rectangular field linkset by 5LI - a pretty substantial difference.
Both the round and the rectangular patches are made with smaller 1LI 'clusters' of a greenery and a bloom mesh object. (That's 1LI when the two pieces are linked, otherwise they are 1LI each)
The detail in the texture goes a long way to giving these poppies realism - and they look just as good from the underside as they do the top.
Love,Love,Love!
I absolutely love there poppies! Super realistic, perfect for my poppy hill! <3
Beautiful
I love these Poppies. the colours are awesome as others have said a little LI heavy for some but am currently in the middle of decorating a small parrcel and these are perfect I really hope you plan to do wild flowers like this, like mixed fields or rounds as well as single flower fields and rounds
Beautiful but LI heavy
As others have said, the flowers are gorgeous. For my situation, it would require far too many LI/prims to fill my meadow with them, which is very sad (15 LI for field shape which covers ~8x2 meters, 7 LI for round shape which covers ~3 meters diameter). They would work well for small garden areas but add too much overhead for a forest or meadow (and of course, stretching the shape increases the LI dramatically) :-/
If the LI was a bit lower or if the area covered by each shape was larger, this would be 5 stars hands down!
In love with my poppies!
Got to play with these in several windlights for a photography project. They were incredible from every angle. Yellow Brick Road, anyone? :D
