The Crown is scripted and can be controlled by the HUD:

You can choose between:

with and without twigs
with and without snow flakes
4 crown materials
5 twigs materials
10 gem materials

You can resize and most importantly : remove the scripts once you have everything set to your liking,
The HUD is set so that it works in 10 m range.


All this being said :
Once you have set up to your linking, its highly and always recommended to delete unneeded scripts ,
or set them to not running where possible.
Always keep a safety copy in your inventory :)
