Pager / Online Status Indicator (mesh)

Features
=======

• Shows online status (Online / Online and Nearby / Offline)
• Includes 2 models:
- With logo
- Without logo
• Can be turned off to override online status
• Paging can be disabled turning pager into an online status indicator
• Assignable to employee
• Pager can now be assigned to employee just by typing their name even when offline.
• Optionally use display name instead of account name (Please note: Some fancy characters in display names may not display correctly).
• Attempts to load profile picture by default
• Shows picture of owner / assigned employee
• Send message and location to owner / assigned employee
• Message includes:
- name of the person sending message and profile link
- region name, parcel name and SLURL for teleporting directly to the person that messaged
• Caller can optionally type a personal message
• Offline messages can be enabled / disabled
• Easy configuration via menu
• You can add your own logo to the top board
• Free updates

Usage
=====

1) Rez Pager inworld - it will attempt to load your profile picture.
Optionally drag & drop another picture onto the pager, if you don't want to use your profile picture.
Click the pager to configure it to your needs.

2) You can also assign the pager to an employee:
- Click the pager and select Assign;
- Type your employee's name within 60 seconds (the pager it will attempt to load their profile picture);
- Your employee can now click the pager and access the menu to configure the pager himself;

When your customer clicks the pager you (or your employee) will receive a message with the toucher's name and location.
E.g.:

All you have to do then is press ctrl-H to open chat history window and click the link provided to teleport to the pager location.

Status
=====

The bottom part of the Pager indicates the owner/assignee's online status:

-Offline
- Online
- Online and Nearby (that is, on the same sim as the Pager)

Important
==========

- Status may take a few minutes to update due to server delay (1 to 6 minutes during tests).
- When you change your profile picture you have to reset the pager and it may take quite some time to update on server.
- Linden Lab may in the future break the ability to check the online status of other avatars but yourself thus preventing the Pager to be assigned to an employee.

Differences between LD PAGER (Classic), LD PAGER (1-prim) and LD PAGER (mesh) (see Related Items below)

The three models have the same features and functionalities, the only differences being:

1) Number of prims

- Classic model : 3 prims.
- 1-prim model : 1 prim (as the name implies).
- Mesh (medium) model : 1 prim (minimum Land Impact 1)
- Mesh (high) model : 1 prim (minimum Land Impact 2)
- Mesh (high rounded corners) model : 1 prim (minimum Land Impact 3)

2) Hover Text (tag) Position

- Classic & Mesh models : display the hover text (tag) above the device.
- 1-prim model : displays the tag near the center of the device (this is a limitation of SL and cannot be changed).

3) You can add your own logo to the top board of the mesh model.

• Messages are sent to open chat if owner/manager is online. If they are offline they get an email. In order to receive offline message as emails you need to have your email configured correctly and verified by LL.
