In Greek mythology, Demeter is the goddess of the harvest, who presided over grains, the fertility of the earth, and the seasons. In Rome she was called Ceres. Demeter and Zeus are parents of Persefone.
Demeter outfit was made carefully, trying to observe the details of mythological symbols and Greek origins. You could see the details of the Greeks through the texture of linen and the embroidered hem of her skirt, top and veil. The acanthus leaves represent the earth nature in which Demeter is goddness.
Beautiful, buuuut...
It's absolutely gorgeous, but nigh on impossible to fit. Combine that with the fact that the acanthus leaf top is no copy makes for grumpy kitty. I'm sure I'll get it to fit eventually, but I'm going to have to finagle the prims manually, and the fact that I have to do that on a no copy item makes me nervous. :-\ Yes, I did know it was no copy when I bought it, but I had hoped it would be in a more sensical way. :-\
