This is a high-quality Ad Board by ~Lantian/Flox~. Super simple to use: no frills, no b.s.! This is an old-school style, standalone rental board that lets people advertise their business, event, etc..

People can rent it 1-4 weeks. They drag any full perm stuff inside (except scripts!). It then displays the first texture they put inside, plus gives a folder of everything to whomever clicks.

How to Customize: Default price is L$50/week. Owner can change that price by typing a different number into the sign's description (that is, the space below its name, when you right-click "edit" it). Why use the description? Super low-lag, and super simplicity.

Thank you for your interest in the Ad Board by ~Lantian/Flox~. This is an old-school, standalone rental board which allows people to advertise their business, event, etc.. They can rent the board for 1 to 4 weeks by paying it, and drag anything they want inside: textures, landmarks, even objects. The items must all be Full Perm!

HOW TO USE:

1.) Rez the Ad Board.

2.) Click "YES" to allow debit permissions.
- This is to prevent a problem if the renter somehow pays an incorrect amount, the board can then refund them. YOU keep 100% of the money; nothing comes to me.

3.) (Optional) Change the weekly rental-fee. Default is L$50 per week. To do so, type ONLY a number into the Ad-Board's description, then click the Ad Board.
- You must use a number, not any letters or characters. If you include those, the Ad Board gives a warning and makes you redo it.
- You must also charge minimum L$1 because Second Life simply cannot handle a L$0 transaction.

HOW RENTERS USE:

1.) Click to "Pay" the board. They can pay for 1, 2, 3, or 4 weeks.

2.) When paid, the board prompts them to drag Full Perm items inside it. They do this by holding down their control key and dragging items from inventory onto its surface. They get 60 seconds to do it, and if they need more time, they can click for another 60 seconds.

3.) The board will display the FIRST texture they drop in. It will also give a folder of whatever they drag inside. The folder is titled "Advertisement from " + renter's name.

4.) The renter can check how many minutes they have left on their rental, at any time, by clicking it. (It will at the same time, offer them a chance to add more things.) They cannot -remove- things. They will have to ask you, the owner, to delete the Ad Board's contents manually.... or wait for the rent to expire, when the board cleans itself.

When the rent expires, the Ad Board informs the renter and you, the owner. It then cleans itself out and offers itself for rent again.
