In case you feel like you have to CUSTOMIZE everything like I do, with this skin you can change the outside look of your houseboat.
What is this exactly?
It's a simple mesh that covers the external walls all around the house. You can put any texture on it (like graffiti and such too) or just change the color.

It only works with the Windlass style of the new linden homes.
And please note that you need (very) basic building skills to change the color and place the skin.

You can position the rezzer like in the image to more easily put the skin into place. If you need help or the UV maps let me know!
