This is based on the real life hot oil rain lamps. The unique shape of these lamps were a classic many decades ago. Our SL version of this lamp has the same general shape but instead of hot oil, we use the standard particle system.
This particular version depicts an ominous dragon statue with its prized orb in its claws surrounded by a volcanic setting. Cascading down around the statue is a shower of glowing red sparks.
