This is based on the real life hot oil rain lamps. The unique shape of these lamps were a classic many decades ago. Our SL version of this lamp has the same general shape but instead of hot oil, we use the standard particle system.

This particular version depicts an winged angel statue with its prized orb in its hands surrounded by a garden setting. Floating up around the statue are beautifully colored butterflies.
