The default maximum number of particles in a SL players DRAW DISTANCE is 4096. The ~LK~ Snowfall Generators were created with this in mind to give the less possible lag with the greatest possible effect. The following list indicates the emittance of each Snowfall Generator.

~LK~ Snowfall Generator, very light emits 25 particles in a players DRAW DISTANCE
~LK~ Snowfall Generator, light emits 50 particles in a players DRAW DISTANCE
~LK~ Snowfall Generator, medium emits 70 particles in a players DRAW DISTANCE
~LK~ Snowfall Generator, heavy emits 100 particles in a players DRAW DISTANCE

The ~LK~ Snowfall Generators are designed to be rezzed on the ground and are in alpha texture. Use your Control+Alternate+T (Ctrl+Alt+T) to highlight the generator (object) for positioning.
Place each generator (object) 10 meters apart for even distribution when rezzing the Snowfall generator. There is a 10m x 10m builders grin included in each boxed ~LK~ Snowfall Generator.
