Easy to use, perfect labeling gadget
I needed to label crates for my market. This did the trick. No more having to go into Photoshop and make custom images for each crate. THANK YOU!!!
Simplified my life!
This tool is exceptionally useful as a store owner during sales. I can answer (I think) a bit about the last reviewers small issues with it: the label seems to spawn a meter or so in front of your avatar based on where your avatar is looking. This is why it's typically rotated at an angle. The clipping comes from the level of detail settings - as this is a tool based on a primitive or mesh plane, it's going to clip a little when the camera is far away. My unrigged hair clips at the same distance, so I'm not bothered by this and upping the LOD in your viewer settings will help (only to the max of 4.0 - no need to exceed that). Otherwise, I'm happy with the basic fonts and love the modularity of the basic version, if I need an extra pack I can buy it- like I did with the icons pack for the arrows. A simple, easy to use tool. Thank you!
Label It? Do It!
I was a bit wary at purchasing this as there weren't any pictures of any examples as to how it looked on prims etc, but I needn't have worried.
I needed to label some art I had displayed in an exhibition and was going to upload each label which would have cost me L$140 - so I see this as a bit of an investment as I will use this, again and again, going forward.
I only have two problems with it and those are that I have to straighten the label on all 3 axes when it is rezzed before I apply to a prim. Also, the label has a habit of disappearing or flicker although I don't know whether it depends on which texture they are in front of?
But I would go ahead and make the purchase as it such a time and Linden saver.
