The ideal shrine for a Queen
After we visited pretty much every castle available from every maker in SL, my partner/Mistress made the final choice between two of Satra Rhode's creations, Beholden and Lady Aster's Retreat. Both fitted our land (4096 sq. m), and both are amazing. What won Her over was probably the beautiful spa, along with the huge top floor ballroom in Lady Aster's, where Beholden, darker and equally beautiful, only has two small rooms at the top, accessed only by TP. Note that the drawbridge in Lady Aster's extends beyond a 16th sim parcel when open, but it can be left closed, or removed entirely as Satra Rhode's creations are copy/modify.
The main quality of this castle is what I call its "poetic design". While it looks realistic enough, it also has a dreamlike, onirical quality in places, and a very warm, welcoming, almost magical feel. You will find grander castles, bigger castles, darker castles, scarier castles, some of them from Satra Rhode herself. This one is the ideal shrine for a beloved Mistress with a taste for authenticity, as well as class, and luxury. Perhaps only a woman could design it quite that way.
I have compliment the creator. After I found some tiny, hardly noticeable defects (nothing that would detract from a five star rating), she insisted on correcting them and this was done amazingly fast with a new version received the next day. Miss Rhode is dedicated to her customers and a perfectionist. This is a big plus.
This castle would be excellent value if it were three times the price. At L$ 2250 it's a steal. But don't take my word for it, see it in-world! If you want a castle for a 4096 sq. m parcel you owe it to yourself to at least visit Lady Aster's Monticello Retreat. And also have a look at Beholden!

The castle is perfect easy to rez . Great customer service when I had an issue (my fault entierly I had my settings wrong lol) I could not be happier!!!
