Rezz the Land Marker on the land and touch it to open the dialog menu.
Click the button: "Mark Land" and wait for the Marker to finish.

Q: What is it?
A: A tool that will put a mark at each turn the property line takes.
The marks are placed completely inside the land where the Marker is started.
Q: Will it work only on the ground?
A: It will work just as well in the sky and in the water, as on the ground.
Q: Can it mark all my land?
A: Yes, if it is one connected parcel.
If your land has more separate parcels the Marker must be started on each parcel.
If the land has 'islands' of alien land in it, the Marker can mark each island. It must be started one time for each island.
Q: How does it work?
A: The marker will move east from where you start it till it reaches a property line.
Then it will follow the line until the line change direction.
At that point it will place a mark and follow the line's new direction.
It will go on like that until it comes back to the first mark.
Q: Can it mark land which I am not allowed on, to build on, enter objects on or run scripts on?
A: Yes, if you have access to the land surrounding it.
In that case the land can be marked from the outside.
A parcel is marked from the inside or from the outside depending on where the Marker is started.
Marks are placed on the parcel where the Marker is started
Q: What distinguishes the marked land from the land next to it?
A: The land's name and description does.
If your land is subdivided the Land Marker can mark each part as long as name OR description are not the same on the subdivisions.

Note 1: When the marker has completed marking, it will tell the mean position for all marks.
This is useful for placing a radar or scanner on that parcel.
For a rectangular parcel, the mean position is the middle of the parcel.
Note 2: When marking is completed the parcel area is displayed.
The area is positive if the parcel is marked from the inside.
The area is negative if the parcel is marked from the outside (you may not own that parcel or may not have access to it).

Never could get it to work in the air, which is where I really needed markers. But, works well on the ground.
UPDATE: After seeing my original review of her product, the creator contacted me with excellent instructions on how to mark land boundaries in the sky. That places her in an elite group of SL creators/vendors who both listen to their customers and then quickly respond to valid concerns. I gladly change my original rating of only 2 stars to a full 5-star rating for the product and excellent customer service. Buy her Land Marker system with no worries about its functionality or someone standing behind it.
