I have always tried to find an easy way to keep track of my favorite places in Second Life. I have tried many landmark tools, and they always have the same issue. Some landmark tools display the names of the landmarks in buttons on menus. Buttons can only contain a limited number of characters. Thus, the result is that the name in the button is chopped off and incomplete.
They also tend to only work with the sim name. For example, a familiar place in Second Life is Freebie Galaxy. The sim name of Freebie Galaxy is Ibiza. Thus, in these landmark tools, you have to use the name Ibiza and you may not remember what Ibiza is.
Other landmark tools that allow you to add your names and landmarks take up a lot of screen real estate. They display all your favorite landmarks on the screen vertically and usually have a limit of 25 landmarks which is 25 prims for a HUD.
To remedy these issues I have created my landmark manager. It works on notecards in the HUD. Each notecard is a category. For example, you can have notecards named, hair, clothes, skins, clubs, etc... and in the hair notecard you can add SLurls for hairs, in the clothes notecard, you can add SLurls for clothes. Once the notecards are saved, you click on the HUD and it gives you a readable menu(no names in buttons). If you pick the hair notecard from the menu, it will display all the SLurls and names you have put in the notecard.
The format for the SLurls in the notecards is name*slurl. For example, Freebies*http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Ibiza/17/14/16
In Nearby Chat that will be displayed as Freebies: Ibiza (17,14,16) and it will be clickable. If you click on it it will teleport you to that location. These links are only visible to you and not to other people who are reading the nearby chat.
If you have one notecard, a menu won't be given because you don't need one. I have tested this HUD with up to 15 notecards without any issues. View the demo video by clicking the "View Video" link below.

The easiest way for me to get the SLurls is to go to the location I want the SLurl of and copy the text from the status bar up on top. When you paste this text it will paste the slurl.
Another way to get the slurl is from your landmarks in your inventory. You can right-click on landmarks in your inventory and go to "Copy SLurl"
