I made this original and unique hybrid combination stand up paddle board and sit-on style kayak to give authentic experiences to people who enjoy exploring shallow and narrow waterways all over SL. Thanks to versatility of my SL scripting and animations you can easily enjoy stand-up or sit-down paddling animations anytime you wish.
There are two key commands to remember. Key ''sup" (without quote marks) in chat or private chat channels 2 or 3 to find yourself standing with SUP paddle held in your right hand. The SUP paddle will at same time disappear from deck and kayak paddle will remain there ready should you decide to select it later.
When desired, key "kayak" in chat or private chat /2 or /3 channels to see yourself automatically sitting down ready to paddle in sit-on kayak style. You will see SUP paddle return to deck and double-ended paddle disappear from deck and appear in your right hand ready for action.
You are going to very much enjoy paddling everywhere and changing smoothly at any time back and forth between standing up paddle board style or sitting down kayak style.
Boat has three appropriately designed speeds speeds (3, 5 and 7 on SL speed scale.... this is not a jet ski or a speed boat). Speeds were carefully chosen to give you that graceful feeling of gliding over water as you paddle. Use your on-screen or keyboard direction arrows to control where you want to go. You will hear gentle sounds of moving water as you move about.
Use jump up and jump down arrows on your viewer motion controller to change speed. Speed chosen is whispered to you privately in chat so you see speed change has been made.
There are four paddling animations I made myself for super authenticity. Two animations are for SUP use and two are for kayak use. Each set has a resting paddle animation for holding paddle gracefully when you are not moving and a paddling animation specific to either SUP or sit-on option you have selected. Boat automatically knows to change to moving paddle animation when you move ahead or back and to resting animation when you stop.
Your first view when you sit or stand is close behind kayak to give you a calm and complete perspective on the kayak and the surroundings as you explore waterways everywhere. However there are also six specially designed follower views you can select with chat or private chat commands. Key "v1" for a low view from behind, "v2" for view just behind your avatar, "v3" for your avatar view, "v4" bow view, "v5" for behind and above view, and "v6" for a sky view from behind.
Out of box, this kayak is authentically sized at 4.2 meters long and 1.0 meters wide and has land weight of ten. If you find kayak is not quite right size for your avatar touch black lift handles on either side of hull and blue rescale menu will appear on your viewer screen..Also touch paddles in middle aluminum pole to also access rescale menu for paddles.
Say name for any of ten colors to change hull color. They are: red, mustard, yellow, lime, teal, blue, pink, tan, sky, and berry.
You can easily change your sit position for any pose using AVsitter menu. And there are other animations you will want to select with AVsitter menu. These are a relaxed laying back sit in seat and two fishing animations (one to port and the other to starboard). Let me know if there are other general-rated animations you might light to use. I have many animations and will be happy to up-grade this boat often with new animations or other features you desire.
