**Works while you are online and offline**
The "LazyGuy - Avatar online notifier" can be used as a hud or rezzed inworld.
If rezzed inworld, the notifier will continue to send status reports while you are offline Also keeps track of last recorded login.
If worn as a hud you will only receive status reports while logged in. (It's copiable, so you can rezz 1 and wear 1 at the same time.)
Depending on which mode is set, you will receive notices by IM, Email, or both.
Add avatars to the watch list by selecting "+" button and submitting the legacy name via textbox (not case sensitive).
Acceptable format examples:
(post 2010)
brooks2.resident
brooks2 resident
brooks2
(pre 2010)
brooksie.brooks
brooksie brooks
Remove avatars by choosing "-" button and submitting number from list that appears coinciding with the name via textbox.
You can open profiles directly from the "watch list" by clicking the avatars hyperlinked name in the open chat window enabling you to choose from the variety of options located on the avatars profile.
Works as advertised
Easy to set up, easy to modify, works perfectly. Exactly what I needed.
My go-to for what it does.
I first came across this notifier HUD on a previous account years ago, worked great then, and still works great today.
so great that on my current account I've actually been suggesting and gifting it to friends/groupmembers who were looking for something with this functionality starting back in 2022.
The only "not great" thing about it is actually a SecondLife limit on how many names can be added to a single HUD - but it's still a bit over 200 names, more than plenty for all but the most social-whoring types, and even then it's easy to just whip out a clear copy and use that copy for adding more names.
Also, you can use it as a HUD and as a rezzed in-world item too.
It works better than the expensive ones
Why pay dear instead using this gift? It works like a charm. Simple no nonsense it does what it is must do and no thrills blah.
Works very nice compared to the hundredL$ huds
I spent many hundreds of L$ to try online status HUDs and they all fail. Now this one for only 1 L$ works great. Instead of entering an "avatar key" I simply entered the avatar name and the next entry "avatar name" and then it works automagically. Kudos for the developer! This is a real gift.
.
I love it, very well implemented, especially in showing the last login date for each entry and IM mode works Grid-wide unlike others I've tried.
Thanks for sharing it so cheaply!
