I used a simple box as base for your snow flake emitter: And I decorated it with golden and silver snow flakes for you to have an extra decoration.
Case you do not like the shape of the emitter - you may reshape and retexture it.
So what about the preloader trick of your snow emitter? Many emitters show you and your guests gray particles which is really ugly. Therefore I used a trick, that the particle textures are loaded at the same time as the base prim. This way I reduce the time which that you have to wait for the nice particle snow effect to a very low time span. I hope to zero!
