It's Pretty Awesome, But Why?
1. The meshes are good enough quality to take pictures. Here's an example of one I made: https://www.flickr.com/photos/193686874@N07/54045335083/in/dateposted/
2. The interactive decorations are JUST like in the game, and set off the Oradek.
3. For everything you get in the package, and the amount of interactivity and choices, it's hard not to consider this a steal.
Shows Promise!
Bought this knowing full well it was likely not worth the money so i am not surprised that the rigging on the hands was horrible with the thumb completely broken and the fingers like playdough. The textures are overall low quality but these are issues i've already seen in the demo however for review sake i figured i'd state them. Seems the gloss is turned up too much on some parts like his skin and some of the metal that is supposed to be dull/matte so they look like plastic, but i'll thank that to the suit here seems to not be the same as the one in game and looks to be a 3rd party remake or re-texture version of the suit(same goes for the vehicle and crates). Most of the things that comes with the avatar is Modify as the item description says it isn't only due to the scripts other than some select pieces like the backpack which is an unrigged piece and oversized causing it to not even sit inside the attach points of the body harness! At the time of this review you cannot change the colors of the suit, but the misc decorations and some other parts are able to be modified. I've messed around with the systems and goodies and it seems very neat if not just a little bare bones but that is to be expected of a product in Beta and only made by one person! Has quite a lot of promise as a RP system, my main gripe is if you remove the head from the suit to wear on normal avatars theres a huge section near your neck that is missing due to the hood for some reason being an entirely separate piece, the rigging overall is bad and deforms you to hell and back forcing it to need a custom shape, the shape needs to be female in order to look like in the pictures so i was able to just copy the slider numbers that came with the avatar onto my own human avatar but it looks quite oversized... Hopefully in the future the confusing setup of how the system works will change and a better suit be acquired.
