Sculpted animated,
1prim , low lag, can be modified.
Comes with 3 different sculpt versions, thin beam, beam fading on both ends, and heavy narrow.
Can be edited to change size and color, textures can be changed as well. Multi colored textures can be very interesting. You can change transparency and glow for brighter or more subtle lighting. You can add actual light to the beam. Scripts can also be added.
The sculpts have a reasonable bounding box and are solid and do not collapse nor are the sculpts typically used for plants, they're made for light beams:)
PS - The beam fading on both ends works really well when placed in a tree.
