Works good when it works
We had a rather large one year anniversary event where I had 3 of my own that I purchased plus 1 more of these running (4). We were giving away gift cards (no mod/no copy/transfer) which unfortunately cannot be given away with these fishbowls. Since each fishbowl provides a generic folder name in the Shoutout for the winner I couldn't quite track Who was winning What prize as we had 4 different gift cards at different amounts going each time. I had to manually Click the board to shout a 10 second timer and draw a winner so that I could manually log each one in an external excel file.
unfortunately whether we had 50 people or 15/20 people on the parcel these things didn't always work. I had to click multiple times for the menu to show up. I'd get a partial menu and then it wouldn't work. Example: Click Shout (no menu would pop up after) click it again and again and agian and finally get the timer option. Sometimes You'd get through all the way and think you had it, but nothing would happen. Instead of running these every half hour I had to stop and give about 10 minutes of fighting each board to get it to announce winners, then load them. Loading them also sometimes they didn't recognize that there were items, or it wouldn't turn the contest On. I had about 10-15 minutes of being running for entries and the rest was trying to get them to Draw winners or Load up. For 6 hours I did this haha.. I do see in the title that they are being updated so I am Hopeful the updated ones will work more smoothly. I do really like these, and would like to utilize them more. Thank you!
Works Great But Best suited for small venues
This works great but only for very small venues. Everyone must stay within 50 metres close to the board to enter. Make sure you know the size of your venue you plan on using it before you buy it
Bought awhile back
..Bought this back when it was 349 L$ and unfortunately had lost the raffle fishbowl! I tried contacting the store owner a few months back and never got a reply. Can't get a redelivery either unfortunately it is no copy didn't know that before buying it so never got to figure out whether or not this board worked out.
