This is made to add to an exsisting fireplace (Inparticularly, Linden's Premium Member Meadowbrook Homes Series Fireplaces.) It contains one glowing log to bring your logs to life and adds additional glowing flames.

Exactly what I was looking for!
This is my 4th purchase of this insert - I use them indoors and out as well as in my LL fireplace. I like that the sound is very minimum. Even with a real fireplace the sound dies down smiles* The reason I'm giving it a 4 star is because it is no-copy but then again it is only 25L$ laughs! I highly recommend it!!

This is great! Just adds that finishing touch to my Linden Home fireplace! Re other comments about no sound - just turn the fire off and then back on again and you will hear it - it's not very loud anyway, but the sound is there. Many thanks for this!
