Chats reading of local wind direction & speed
A *MUST* for sailing, an absolute NEED for aviators!
Wind Direction presented in standard True North degrees, ( 0'- 359')
Wind Speed presented in meters per second ( m/S)
Speed readings below 0.5 m/S shown as 0 m/S
I've *never* seen 0 m/S wind condition in SL, alternatively I've obtained readings up to 15 m/S!
(54 kph or 34 mph!! ).
Other seemingly 'wind blown' prims are not accurate and don't give proper/complete information. Primarily due to lag and other inworld graphic distortions. This HUD's data is rounded from an accuracy of .000001 m/S for easy understanding and quick interpretation.
*COPY for ALL you may need*
Delivered as a HUD (attaches to top/center), just Wear or Add and you're good to go! Can be modified to wear/hold as an instrument or be placed, as stationary, on ground. Provided shape resembles a blue Wind Sock but can be modified to whatever you'd prefer.
Technical script is No Modify, Hover Text script can be edited or deleted from contents. Very light on Scirpt Load and LI
Very simple operation, just Touch it! and region's wind data appears in Nearby Chat.
