Log Cabin Wall Building set, Sculpted Log Cabin Walls, Sculpted Walls with UV maps SLCW1

24 Part sculpted Log Cabin Building Kit with UV maps so you can create your own sculpted prims or use the included full perm examples for creations you that you sell.

I have seen some absolutely cool Log Homes made with this set. I used to not like it so much but changed my mind:)

Important! These sculpted walls are set up in 2 basic groups:

Walls 1-6 are more elaborate and should be used with caution. I recommend that you use these only when they do not need to be viewed from more than about 90 M distance. A good use would be for the interiors of homes or for a skybox. ( I made these first and realized after all that work that I would not use these on standard homes for sale)

Walls 7-20 are designed to be used for serious building and these will give you acceptable results for High end product creation. You will not have a problem with distance (LOD) on these. You will be able to build extremely nice Log Homes with these. All parts are scalable ( I use a 6.25M height for reference) All pieces will then fit perfectly

Texture mapping: These sculpts will accept nearly any standard horizontal wood log texture.

Set up: Sculpt Map: In edit object tab set the prim type to sculpted, select the mapping for Cylinder then drag the UV Map Texture into the colorful box - the sculpt will take shape. Size it then rotate into position if needed to achieve the best look.

Get a reference on how to texture these from my examples or apply a test attern to seefor yourself how this maps.
Rez the example you like and play with the texture offsets to change the color of the logs of these:)

Is it soup yet? .. No its not but it could be soon.. Get ready to be happy.. The texture I used on my examples can achieve 8 distinct looks.
