The avatar's key can now be used instead of the avatar name in the avatars file. This takes care of situations where the avatar's key is not found in the database.You can get this key from the avatar's profile using viewers like Phoenix.

Unpacking the product:
- Go to your land or in a sandbox.
- Rez the Login Notifier box.
- Right click and select 'Open'.
- Select 'Copy to Inventory'. This will create the Login Notifier Folder in your inventory.
- Take the box.

How to use:

- Create a note card called 'avatars' containing the list of avatars you want to get notified on.
This can be from 1 to 8 avatars with each line containing the avatar name.
- Create a note card called 'emails' containing the list of emails where the notifications are sent.
- Rez Notifier
- Edit Notifier and edit the 'avatars' note card in the contents tab. You can also drag and drop a copy of your 'avatars' note card into the contents tab.
- Edit the 'emails' note card in the contents tab. You can also drag and drop a copy of your 'emails' note care into the contents tab.
- Touch Login Notifier to display the menu.
- Select 'Reset'. This is required everytime you change these notecards.
- Select 'Start Nfy' to start notification of your favorite avatars. By default, Notifier will send you the email notification on login events. You can change this to include SL IM notification and also include logout events.
- Logout of SL. Login Notifier will keep an eye on your favorite avatars and let you know in RL when they are on.

Default Settings:

Login Only - get notified on logins only
Email Notify - send email notifications
IM Notify - don't send IM notification

Command Options:

Start Nfy - Start notification; runs periodically to check the online status
Stop Nfy - Stop notification
Chk Status - Check online status of your favorite avatars; runs once
Email - Off - Turns off email notifications
Email - On - Turns on email notifications
IM - off - Turns off IM notifications
IM - on - Turns on IM notifications; this is useful when you are in-world want notifications
Login - Get login notifications only
Login/out - Get both login and logout notifications
List - Gives you the status of the device and current settings
Reset - Resets the device; do this everytime you make changes

Text/SMS Notifications* (Getting text to your cell phones):

If your cell phone supports it, you can use your cell phone to get notifications. Instead of an email, specify your cell phone as your email address.

Here are the settings for the US providers:

Virgin Mobile: phonenumber@vmobl.com
Cingular: phonenumber@cingularme.com
Sprint: phonenumber@messaging.sprintpcs.com

where phonenumber = your 10 digit phone number

perms are incorrect

The perms clearly show copy and the item is not copy. if you lose it for any reason its just gone and you have to buy another, not expensive but its still wrong
