Lost Creek Nutty Squirrel Hang-Glider FLYING MODEL Version 1.0

After a couple of questions about size of this model:
It is roughly SCALE SIZED (well as scale as a real life Red Squirrel and the aircraft he built would be in SL which is slightly oversize) The glider is SMALL less then a meter or so. About the size of our free flying Northern Raven.

Here we have another "Nutty" looking for a good home..
Not to be outdone by the chips, the squirrels have come up with their own mode of flight (until they come up with something MORE ridiculous) a full flying, squirrel piloted, hang-glider.

While the chips putter around in the "Peanuts" the squirrels (preferring a more purist and earth friendly mode of transportation) can be seen "thermaling" and swooping around just about anything that provides lift.

**WARNING**
As stated previously with our other Nutty Aircraft these pilots are NOT certified by the FAA, or any international aviation governing body, to operate ANY form of aircraft (but tell them that) and as is often the case with student pilots catastrophic mistakes can be the result. Please do keep this in mind when allowing this Nutty Squirrel to fly around your land and by purchasing this Nutty you agree to NOT hold Lost Creek liable or responsible for any damages to persons or property for allowing a rodent to fly. That's on you..or the squirrel, the jury is out on that one.

Carefully constructed (or as carefully as a squirrel can be at least) of twigs, sticks, leafs, string and feathers, this hang-glider is the current pinnacle of squirrel motor-less aviation (as of this week) and with a little pine sap to hold the leafs together to make up the skin of the wing, you should be able to enjoy them flying (mostly) silently around your home endlessly.
As with all the flight models a full menu is included to allow you to silence them entirely and/or if you would like them to fly all night long (very dangerous for a hang-glider). As it is they will cease all operation and movement as soon as the sun goes down and vanish. Then when the sun comes up again they will resume flying.

I spend a great deal of time hand painting all of my builds and the "Nutties" are no exception. With AO enhanced textures and for those of you who enable the advanced lighting model, specular and bump (normal) mapping.

Included is TWO flight models in both the standard (which adheres strictly to the range you set) and the ORBIT style (the more realistic yet not as strict about the range, sometimes drifting slightly out (see docs)).

YES THEY WILL WORK IN SKYBOXES! :)
ALL of our flight models use NON VEHICULAR based physics and a MUCH "lower lag" scripting method that allows them to work perfectly at any altitude without inducing any undue system load. So feel free to rez a few (I personally have them in groups of three) as they love to fly with friends or enjoy the solitude of pretending to be a lone eagle.
