Modify - you can change size or color
Scripts are no modify - but you can change size/color or scripted items even if it says "no modify" in inventory.
Examples what you can modify:
* the Christmas rug, you can put a different texture on it after Christmas if you want to use it for the rest of the year
* The fireplace can be unlinked, and you can take of the stockings and use the fireplace alone after Christmas
* For ex : You can edit linked parts of the window frame with the snowing animation and change the color of the frame
* you can change the size of the Santa picture or the potted poinsettia
