This is a very simple collision based greeter that will only greeter your guests once a day. At midnight SLT the greeter will reset allowing them to be greeted the next day. This also occurs to prevent stack heap errors when the memory gets too large.
A custom message can be appended to the objects description to send to the person.

Does what it says
It does what I need it to do! (I just wish I could get it to stop putting the Avatar's username after the message.) If I was talented with scripts I am sure I could figure it out, which is way I buy scripts ;) .
Anyway. not a L wasted, it is what I needed even with the avatar name at the end of each sentance. Thanks!
Best scriptors!
This product along with others are the best! Keep up the good work. The scripts are easy to use thank you.
Waste of Time
No instructions on how to set up a custom greeting.
good idea, but
it's a great idea, easy to use for smaller messages. but instructions on how to add a message was unclear untill I went back to this page to read the description. and the description area only allows for so much, I can't put in everything I need.
Just what I needed
I needed to tell visitors to my store how to get further information on display items. I put this script in an invisible, phantom prim that covers my floor. Then I put my message in the "description" field of the prim, with a comma after it. I have tested performance successfully with my alts. The readout, followed by the avatar's name, appears on the screen one time — but long enough for the visitor to absorb the message. Perfect!
