When I create for my Second Life shop I envision a mom and pop gift shop in a little neighborhood kind of like the one I grew up working in. The owners were two gorgeous women who everyone thought were sisters but were in fact life partners. They would fill their shop with the most beautiful decorations, figurines, and jewelry. I would have the privilege of helping them choose what to sell, display the pieces artfully, and then the best part was meeting customers who felt like kindred souls. They had with intent, stepped into the shop to choose something to make someone happy; be it a friend, a relative, a co-worker, or even themselves. Their eyes would gleam as they connected to a piece and their smiles were warm and glad as they'd watch their chosen gift be wrapped in the finest papers and ribbons. Everything I do in Second Life always correlates to those experiences I had as a young man. I became addicted to the art of gift-giving. Sadly the economy could not support the business but I always joked that you can take the boy out of the gift shop but not the gift shop out of the boy. I used to ask Margaret, one of the owners, how she knew what pieces to choose and she told me frankly that she just chose what she loved. She figured if she loved it someone else will too.
I'm sure Margaret would love these clever and beautiful vases celebrating women. I know I love them and I hope you do too.
GREAT :)
I love the vases, looks great. Thats it :)
Imperfection in perfection for 1-2 LI... I have to say, I love them too, *smiles...
Only the branches are not my taste, but you can hide them by simply setting the transparency to 100. And THATS the Reason i gave 4 Stars. If the Branches also were perfect, this piece of art would deserve 7 Stars.
PS: This is the first Store ever where i LOVE to check EACH item, and read the Descriptions...
