This pack contains Environment Settings for use with EEP-enabled viewers such as the latest Firestorm or Second Life viewers. For more information on EEP, see the Second Life Wiki at http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Environmental_Enhancement_Project.

These sky settings are suitable for use on your avatar for your own custom, portable environment, or for deployment on a parcel or region you own. It can also be incorporated into a daycycle if desired, but it is a static setting that does not change on its own.

This package includes three very similar sky settings; the only differences are how bright the lighting is. The sun is directly overhead, but the sky is black! They are an attempt to mimic the lighting on an airless world, such as the Moon, in broad daylight. That is, there's sunlight, but since there's no appreciable atmosphere, the sky is black, with no stars. It's not meant to be scientifically accurate, but to simulate something of what it might look like if you were there.

In the picture, that's me, hanging out without a space suit, at a Moonbase sim. Seemed an appropriate place to test!
