LUNCH – MIDDLE CLASS
Designed for the middle class, this set features historical recipes from the 18th century, served in well-kept but modest tableware, distinct from the luxury of the upper classes.
The Marnier service recreates a typical midday meal in a respectable 18th-century household. Instead of costly porcelain, everyday faience was common among artisans, doctors, and merchants. The set includes white-enameled platters and plates, decorated with hand-painted cobalt-blue motifs.
The menu reflects dishes appropriate to this social tier:
Main courses are served on large platters, with smaller portions plated individually, each accompanied by an integrated menu card.
