The tool 'Stage Security' sepcializes on club owners who want a safe stage for their dancing employees. The employees only, who have the permissions to use the stage, can use the stage. All other people will be pushed (llPushObject) from the stage. If you want, you can customize a text message, that unauthorized stage users get, when they get pushed, e.g. "Miriam Ballinger, you are not allowed to use the stage." So stage security is an invisible (use CTRL-ALT-T to make it visible), 3d object area, which employees are allowed to use. The tool is available as copy/no trans version. You can modify the block type (box, cylinder, ...) and size of the tool and make it fit to your needs.
Highlights:
- invisible
- adjustable size
- adjustable block type
- collision-based
- customizable information message
- customizable avatar list and / or one group (with permission to use the stage)
- customizable push direction
- pustomizable push power
INSTALLATION
Please rezz your bought box, open it and copy/move the content into your inventory. Here you find a folder called 'MB Tools: Stage Security'. Rezz the tool at the place, where it has to work (tybically on a stage). Rmember: Use CTRL-ALT-T to see the tool. You can modify the block type and size - as every other object in SL. If you have a bigger stage, use multiple tool objects side by side.
USAGE
no operator needed (once configured it works without any interaction)
CONFIGURATION
The base configuration is done via 'config' notecard (click right on the tool ... Edit ....More ... tab: content ... and then open the config notecard)
Below you find each parameter of the config notecard explained. A | sign (pipe sign) says, you can choose between those different values, e.g. on|off
AV=Miriam Ballinger
The AV parameter defines which avatars will be allowed to use the stage. For each avatar one line.
If you want to allow one group to use the stage, set stage security to the group (You don't have to deed it to group).
stagemessage=%t, you are not allowed to use the stage!
Set the stagemessage to the text, unauthorized avatars will receive when they enter the stage. A %t will be substituted by the avatar's name
stage=on|off
Set stage=yes to activate the stage message. Use stage=no to deactivate it.
pushdirection=<1.0, 0.0, 0.0>
sets the direction in which the avatars will be pushed.
pushpower=20
sets the power to push the avatars. In a club 20 is an acceptable power. Attention: If you use a high push power, an avatar can be pushed across multiple regions(!) If the avatar complains at Linden, this may lead to an abuse report. I'm not responsible for using too high push power values!
Having ended the configuration of the tool, it will be reseted automatically

Make sure your sim has pushing enabled!
I did not realize this product will ONLY work if your sim has pushing enabled. It is absolutely worthless if your sim owner has pushing disabled. Make sure before you purchase it!
