Read the description carefully!!!

I have to be fair and give five stars because those textures are very well made and they do fit the description. I guess I only have to blame myself for buying something I can't use.

To keep others from making the same mistake that I did, look carefully at the picture, those dark lines of at the top and bottom, they're part of the texture - this isn't an image of a genuine thatched roof but of a regular roof with an ornamental layer of straw on top of it.
More seriously, those lines mean the textures are not repeatable vertically and that again means they only work for fairly small roofs. I tried using it for a fairly small 8x12 m cottage and even there it started to show that distinctive overstretching that is depressingly common in SL.

That is the three regular textures in the package. That lovely alpha texture that could have been the star of the show, it's completely useless. You can't use that across the entire floor and you can't use it just for the edges since it doesn't match any of the other textures.

But as I said, this is all in the descriptin and in the pictures. The only misleading part there is "If you are building anything that needs a thatched roof, this is a nice thing to have." Well, it isn't. These textures are rather inflexible and only suitable for a very limited range of building types and sizes.

Oh, the inner roof textures? Sorry, never even looked at those. Serious builders don't use painted on woodbeams anymore. We got sculpts and mesh for those details now.
