El 20 de noviembre de 1910 fue el día en el que inició la Revolución Mexicana, considerada como el suceso social y político más importante del siglo XX de nuestro país, y como uno de los más relevantes en el resto del continente americano. Es por ello que esta fecha es tan importante en México y es conmemorada cada año.
Las causas de dicho movimiento fueron varias. Entre ellas encontramos hartazgo por la desigualdad social, nula libertad de expresión, explotación indígena, despojo de tierras a campesinos, etcétera. Esto como resultado de la larga permanencia de Porfirio Díaz en la presidencia de México y de su carácter autoritario.
