who am I to say what a jet that can crash into the water should fly like? I can fly it, that's good enough for me lmao

I love MFFK's planes. The way they handle, their worthiness for long flights without fear of dropping from the sky crossing an unruly sim and the attention to detail. Sure this is an older model, but it's clearly listed on the description, and it flies great, so I'm not sure what the big issue is with the previous reviewer. I've paid much more for much less fun, that's for sure.

The Sea Dart was an actual experimental plane at time carriers had issues launching supersonic jets from their decks. Contrary to the below complaints of landing this on water, my experience is it's similar to what you see on the actual film of the dart taking off, landing, and moving on land. I don't have the 'submarine' effect, other than a brief kiss of the nose with the water, but damn, I'm not sure what someone is expecting from a heavy jet with flimsy skis landing in the ocean.

The sounds are fine. Again, while I can see the Sea Dart in action on film, I wasn't around back then and have no idea what the hatch or gears sound like. All I know is I actually love the sound of the jet in flight and there is nothing distracting to me at all when taking off, flying, and landing.

As it's an older model, the cockpit detail and other intricacies you see on MFFK's newer offers are lacking, but not to the point they are unbecoming. I also feel the price is fair for what you get, which is a pretty good plane that pays homage to the early jet age..

I also own her F5U Flying Flapjack and I really enjoy that plane as well. I appreciate both these models are not only different in looks but also offer unique handling characteristics from one another.

In my opinion, this is a great plane, is fun to fly, affordable, doesn't wimp out after several sim crossings, and offers a blast to the past you can enjoy and not see 50,000 of them around the Blake Sea.

When i first got this out of the box it seemed promising. The textures were decent and the mesh looked pretty good to.
But as i got into the bulk of it... i was very unimpressed.

My first point... the cockpit opening noise. sounds like one of those basic SL home doors.

My second point... Sounds like the old gravity plane from terra going back years ago... and what with the lack of thrust spooling noises?

And when you go to land on the water, it takes a moment to read it. making you turn into a submarine before shooting you back up tothe surface!

The only redeaming feature so far is that it has wing particle generators when you're banking or roling hard. Don't really see that on many planes in sl. So props to that.

Other than that. im going to give it a 3 star rating. not awful, not great. average.
This either needs and update or a total re-work! not sure what their newer stuff is like. but this as put me off!
