Makes it easy for people to join your group and is easy to set up too!
Once set up, all the person has to do is click the sign (or whatever object you put the script in) and they are privately told to click the link in their chat history (try the one in my shop). They click the link and get the group info window, and just have to click the Join button. You do need to make sure your group is open enrollment (or there won't be a join button).
Features:
* Easy to use (see above)
* Easy to set up (see below)
* Works fine on group land where you have to set it to a different group
* You can change the floating text or even remove it
* Keeps a count of invites given
* Owner functions are menu driven
Setup:
1. Rez the Inviter where you want it and make sure it is set to the group you want to invite to (either by setting the group in edit, or just rezzing with that group tag active)
2. If you can't leave the Inviter in that group, touch it and click the Save Group button, then change the group in edit to whatever it needs to be for your land. It will still invite to the saved group (which is saved to the Inviter's description field, so it can't get cleared unless you specifically do it yourself).
3. At some point you'll likely want to put your own texture on the Inviter, which you can easily do, as it is copy/mod (the script is no mod). You can even put a copy of the script in whatever object you want to use as an inviter.
4. Set the floating text to whatever color suits you by clicking the inviter on making the appropriate selection, you can even turn it off if you prefer.
5. Click the inviter and click the Test button, just to make sure :)
NOTE: If you save the group with the Save Group button and take a copy of the inviter into inventory. When you rez that copy, the group will already be set.
UPDATED: Version 1.1 adds a button to change the floating text (replacing the reset button, which can still be done in the normal way). The script is now in Mono.
There are No Refunds on this product as it is Copy/NO-Transfer. The ONLY exception is verifiable duplicate purchases by the same Avatar, brought to my attention right away -- include Marketplace transaction details for all purchases on a notecard.
