Component-Based Armor
Welcome to a new level of customization in sleek, eye catching hi-tech armor.
The OPA3 armor allows you to customize your look by choosing the components that best fit your style.
To start you need to purchase the OPA3-01 base armor.
Next you may optionally choose to purchase any of the add-on packs which allow customization of your look based on what pieces you choose. All pieces work together with the OPA3-01 HUD, adapting itself to the armor pieces you have chosen.
All parts are built with a common joint set in mind so they all fit together seamlessly even if you mix and match between sets for a particular limb.
What will your custom set be?
*NOTE*
The OPA3-01 and MCW-OPA-01 armors share similar arms and legs however their color controls are not compatible.
If you own both armors be sure to wear the appropriate arms and legs.
*OPERATION*
_Coloring_
The OPA3-01 comes with a HUD which controls the Color customization for the Helmet, Arms, Torso (chest and belt) and Legs.
To modify the color of the armor simply press the "Armor Color" button on the HUD and three cubes will be rezed next to your avatar.
The HUD will expand to show selections for Helmet, Arms, Torso (Chest and Belt) and Legs.
Press the button for the section of armor you wish to modify the color on. This will set the cubes to the proper state.
Edit these cubes as you would any other object. Go to the texture tab and choose any color you would like.
The cubes have the appropriate level of shiny and glow on them so you will see exactly how they'll appear on the armor.
Once you are satisfied with the color exit the prim editing mode, then simply touch the cube and the color will transfer to your armor.
If you want to change sections, simply click on the respective button and it will change the cube state.
When you are complete press the "Armor Color" button again to minimize the HUD again.
_Visor configuration_
The HUD also controls the position of the visors on the helmet.
One button is for the inner visor, and the next for the outer visor. They can be left in any position.
OPA3-01 Version 1.4 Release Notes
New in v1.4
Added support for the new OPA3-03 Arms add-on and OPA3-03 Legs add-on.
New textures have been added to the HUD to reflect wearing the new armor components.
The Chest armor now responds to wearing the OPA3-03 shoulder pads by causing the fixed shoulders on the chest piece to turn invisible. This can be done for any configuration of shoulder wear (one on, one off, both on, both off)

HUD now interfaces with expansion helmets. When the current helmet or one of the expansion helmets are worn the button graphics change to match what is being worn.
