Overall this is an excellent product and beautifully made. However, there were a few things I needed to change before I was satisfied.
The whole thing was too big and made my regular sized AV look like a dwarf. To fix this, I reduced everything in size by 80%, which was not straightforward as the desk and the accessories had to be done separately and then repositioned. The Desk/Counter Brochure Rack could not be reduced in size using the scaling tool.
I reduced the prim count of the desk from 21 to 11 by unlinking part of it using the convex hull trick and relinking the prim.
The chair’s prim count is 10, which is too high, and the animations were very dated, so I replaced the chair with a more modern low prim one with better animations.
I added my textures to the brochures and cards in the Desk/Counter Brochure Rack and the Card Holder. However, I then had to adjust the body of each item from alpha blending to alpha masking to remove the transparency glitch. The desk counter comes with a full perm item giver script which I modified and added to the cardholder to give out LM’s. There is a modify/copy and a modify/transfer option available. Adding your logo to the back sign is very simple.
Most of these issues are attributable to the age of the item. But once I fixed the problems, it made a stunning addition to my skybox.
