The barrier gardens are mega-large, low prim and built on a large rock foundation. I use barrier gardens as (filler). More or less to take up shore space while bordering a island. I use them two ways. (1) I put the front of the garden on the water side; something pretty for the visitors to see from the water while the large plants in the back of the garden are on the shore and become a barrier. (2) I put the flower side inland, then add to the back of the garden with rocks and plants blending it softly into the water.
Please Note: Each plant and or flower may be color-toned to achieve a certain depth of color. if you decide to change a color or tone of a plant or flower, edit the linked set, then change or re-tone that particular plant or flower. If you tone the entire arrangement at once you will alter the overall look of the arrangement.
