The <MTR> Slingshot is part of our role playing combat system.

You need to be wearing a <MTR> HUD, to use the <MTR> Slingshot. Free <MTR> HUDs are available inworld.

Features:
*Unlimited rocks (firing rocks use up SP)
*Realistic slingshot animation
*Blood particles upon hitting an avatar.
*Rocks leave smoke trails
*Kills <MTR> animals, monsters, and avatars with <MTR> HUDs

How to Use:
1. Find the <MTR> Slingshot in your inventory. Mostly likely, it will be in a folder labels <MTR>.
2. Rightclick/wear the <MTR> Slingshot
3. Click MENU on the <MTR> HUD, and choose Activate in the list.
4. Scroll forward on your mouse all the way to go into Mouselook to fire the weapon.
5. Leftclick to fire while in Mouselook.

Your stamina, or SP, will go down as you fire your weapon. When you are out of SP, you are out of bullets. You can also purchase ammo huds for fast reloads.

... I know it's not unusual, but it is so rubbish not to be able to resize something to fit your avi - I guess for 29 lindens I shouldn't complain

Sling shot apparently does not work

I bought the sling shot thinking I would have a nice weapon to use in areas that don't allow guns or rifles, and I opened the box and put the sling shot on. It looks like the old biblical slingshot David used to kill Goliath. However, it is supposed to throw the rock, and it doesn't, in fact it uses rocks without throwing them, then you get a message saying it needs activating? Then I guess when you use the rocks up you have to purchase more? That is irritating enough when you pay this much for something....much less the fact that it doesn't work.
