Serve up some bowling fun with MadPea's Gingerbread Strikes!
This delicious bowling set comes with both unattached Scorecard and Leaderboard to set up as you prefer.
To play, click START on the lane and choose Join Game from the pop up. (Be sure to accept any attachment permission pop ups!) Once all players have joined, click START again and choose Start Game from the menu.
You will be informed in local/nearby chat when it is your turn. To bowl, step up to the lane and go into mouselook, click and hold (long click) to gain speed for your roll. The higher the number, the harder your ball will be rolled. If you move your aim while holding, you can give your ball a slight curve during its roll.
Player 1 and Player 2 scores will show on the Scorecard, through all ten frames. Max score is 300, which is 12 total strikes in a row.
High scores will be added to the optional leaderboard and will reflect high scores for all of the same game rezzed within the same region and owned by the same avatar. This leaderboard can be reset with a click and hold (long click) on the leaderboard and choosing 'reset' from the menu.
Owners have a 'Owner' menu option allowing them to choose the game's access level (group only or everyone - default is everyone).
Land impact is 21 when static and 31 when game is in play.
Scorecard and leaderboard each have a land impact of 4, but that may increase if the items are resized.
** IMPORTANT NOTES: Individual lanes and scorecards rezzed too close to each other may start to cross talk! Keep this in mind if setting up multiple lanes and multiple scorecards next to each other. Also, making shift-drag copies of these items may cause them not to work as you would normally intend, requiring you to rez fresh copies of all machines. **
