MadPea's Mad Pitch

To play, click the game, choose 'Yes!' from the menu, and accept any permissions pop-ups. (If you have missed these, please make sure they are not hidden behind something else on your screen.) Once you have done this (and your sounds are turned up), you will hear a coin drop, starting music and 'Play ball!' before your first inning starts.

To throw a ball, go into mouselook and left click. You are trying to aim at the center of the numbered score blocks on the back wall of the game. Once a block has been hit, aim for another!

A target block can only be hit once each inning.

You have three balls in each inning to throw and try to get the highest score possible, over 9 total innings. Each inning starts after you hear 'Play ball!' (or see the reference to the next inning in local/nearby chat).

A Helpful Tip: The shorter the avatar, the harder the time you will have aiming at the targets. Adjust your avatar height or hover height if you need to.

To access the Owner's Menu, click on the 'power switch' panel on the right hand side of the machine. This will allow for the owner to set who can play the game (owner, group, or public), as well as reset that machine, the optional leaderboard, or both items together. Once choices have been made, choose 'Close' from the menu.

If you would like to keep track of who gets the highest score in a single game, there is an optional leaderboard included. The leaderboard will work with more than one of the same machine rezzed in the region, owned by the same person, and will show the top 5 player scores across them.

Land impact of game itself is 21 and 23 while the game is in play.

The leaderboard has a land impact of 8, but may increase if the item is resized.

** Owner's Note: If you have the MadPea Experience Key enabled on the parcel this game is rezzed out on, players who accept the experience key will be able to forgo any permissions pop-ups. This is completely optional as a land owner! **
