Magazine Distribution System (version of NDS) Version 1.5.11.4

The Magazine Distribution version of the Networked Distribution System (NDS) is a simple solution for distributing kiosks (Remote Terminals) where people can get your free magazines, subscribe to your Subscriber Kiosk (sold separately), or join your SL Group. It is a limited feature, easy setup. low cost version of the full featured NDS (see related products). The Magazine version includes the following features:

- Mod/Copy/Transfer Remote Terminal (scripts are no-mod)
- Mod/Copy Server (scripts are no-mod)
- Magazine edition and cover texture are updated from Server.
- Option to update a second texture from Server.
- Users simply touch the Remote Terminal on the cover texture panel to get the latest edition.
- Remote Terminal Subscribe button can be linked to a Subscriber Kiosk (sold separately) for delivery of future editions.
- Remote Terminal includes a Join Group button that gives a link to your Second Life Group Info page where people can join.
- Pre-configured. No need to get link and face numbers or TouchPoint coordinates.

- Complete flexibility in configuring the Remote Terminal appearance and operation.
- Uses TouchPoint technology to configure Remote Terminals as a single prim regardless of the number of buttons.
- Remote Terminal texture (buttons, advertisement, logo, etc.) updated automatically from Server.
- Server logs transactions and locations of Remote Terminals.
- Server accepts "Give Item" requests from The Creative Publisher (sold separately)
- Includes 9 different Remote Terminal styles, or you can make your own.
- The following Remote Terminal TouchPoint button functions are specified on Server Config notecard:
- * Give users an item (e.g. notecards, objects, landmarks, etc.) contained in the Server
- * Give users web link (URL) in popup
- * Give users link to SL Group Info window where they can join
- * Subscribe or Unsubscribe users to a Subscriber Kiosk (kiosks sold seperately)
- * Display any specified avatar's profile page
- * Show any specified avatar's online status
- * Allow user to compose and send an email to specified address
- * Display interactive web media on a Remote Terminal prim face.
