The Mailbox comes packaged but ready to rez and use. No Setup required.

(2) Modification Walkthrough

This Section will help you Modify the appearance of your mailbox. If you are new to SL or Building please use section (2a). If you are experienced in both move ahead to section (2b) for a fast walkthrough to refresh yourself.

(2a) New Person to SL Walkthrough (High Detail)

-Windows-

1. Left click the ground or something already placed in the world.
2. Press the B button on your keyboard.
3. In the window that pops up make sure the button that says more is clicked. If you don’t see a more button and see one that says less then it is already done.
4. Click the button that looks like a mouse with a box.
5. Make sure the box to the left of Edit linked parts is checked.
6. Click the Texture tab.
7. Click one of the 9 primitives of the object.
8. Click the white block on the right to decide the new color you want the part of the mailbox you selected earlier.
9. Repeat steps 7 and 8 for the other 9 primitives to edit the colors as you wish. (This can also be done for the texture with the box on the left.)
10. Click the X on the edit window.
11. Repeat step 1 to return to normal SL view and have fun

(I only have windows so these directions will be slightly different for other operating systems.)

(2b) Fast Walkthrough (Low Detail

-Windows-

1. Open Edit make sure you are editing linked parts.
3. Select 1 primitive at a time.
4. Edit the colors and textures on each primitive as you wish.
5. Close edit and have fun.

This product has a limited warranty. If for any reason yours stops working a replacement can be given to you but you must IM JOBNED1 Thor with what the problem seems to be and not “I need a replacement product”, “Hi”, or “Help”.

Current Version: 2.02

This Product comes with an automatic update system yes when you rez it if there is a new version you will automatically have it delivered for free. And if you always wear it no problem it also checks for updates daily. So you will always have the latest version for free.

Version 2.01 (used a new method of creating the box lowering the prims from 9 to 5 and changed update system slightly)
Version 2.00 (fixed a small bug)
Version 1.00 (added update system and modified the menu)

Very large, so had to shrink it. Cannot modify the script, so it will probably end up setting in my inventory.
