Marble Vistas cottage
Karunk of Blavia was a mighty warrior, serving his king and country nobly for many years. It is not the aim here to magnify his exploits, nor would any honorable historian slight them. For our purposes we only want to say that after being singly dedicated to the defeat of the nation's enemies he finally settled down with his new bride along the rocky and beautiful coast of Blavia's inland sea, the Nimfodwill Sea. Smitten with rapacious love for his Catherine he built this cottage for her. When he asked her what home she wanted built she said that one thing was most pleasant to her thoughts...windows, she said, "lots of windows." She looked lovingly at Karunk, for despite the fierceness of his visage and the power in his fists, she called him her tender lushroot, a strong but flowery plant that grew along the hillsides of coast of Nimfodwill. "When you are away I want to see your approach, and when you are home I want the world to see that you are mine. Give me windows." And windows he gave her. Karunk and Catherine have now long passed into the annals of history. Their love became legendary. Their children carried the banners of armies and homes. This is their cottage.
