This is called a 'Mars Base' but is suitable to be used as a base on any surface. Just change the texture of the base to whatever is suitable.
Having built it, I have to say that the first pioneers to venture out to colonize planets are going to have to be a very special breed, as the deal is you go to Mars for life, and the first structures are going to be very small and basic. From little acorns mighty oaks do grow, but in the beginning I would not like to be confined to such a small space for life.. If you have spare prims and space, but are not interested in the build, download the demo for a perspective of how these people will live. I could not do it.
The build comes with a center structure, the hub which has a dome above for access to the outside via the air lock (not functional)leading off the hub are 8 smaller domes. 4x horticultural, 2x living quarters, 1x toilet/bathroom section, 1x control room.
The living sections are fitted with compact bed/chair units, a table complete with laptop, both of the living quarters have a usable treadmill. The bathroom has a fully functioning shower.
Footprint:
22mx22m, however without the base the structure is considerably smaller. The footprint could be made even smaller by removing the solar panels outside the main structure.
Prim 178 including all the fitted extras. The prims can be reduced by removing the fitted extras and the base/solar panels.

1/ The building is modify, but is shown as none modify when bought, this is just due the the 'open close' door script not being modify, but this too can be modified via a notecard in the doors.
2/ If you want to modify the building, or maybe move or remove linked objects, and are new to sl and not confident on how you do this. Please feel free to contact me and I will send you clear instructions. Its very easy really, but until you know how, its a mystery.
