EXCELLENT !!!
I can recommend this product, works great and to make different groups of lights is easy if you follow Amelia's instructions : when you make a new group of lights that you want to have 'on/off' differently then 1st group you change each light giving object name into 'light2' and the main root object you change the name into 'switch2', then you open the script and edit : wherever you see the words 'light' or 'switch' or 'switchoff' you simply change into 'light2' and 'switch2' and 'switch2off' and job is done.
If the object you want to give light is made of more linked bits , all you do is name the part you want to be light giver as 'light' and the rest of the object something else , not really important...this way not the whole object will emanate light but just the part you want to be the light source.
And of course for each new group of lights you just change that number .....
Thank you Amelia for this excellently working product !!!!
Excited and Delighted
Although at first I struggled with this product and had gotten a bad taste in my mouth with how confusing it was, I was pleasantly surprised and quite delighted that the creator reached out to me and provided substantial aid in helping me figure this out.
With fresh instructions in hand, I'm excited to be able to set up the lights in my home to work as I had initially hoped, it's truly amazing that I can set groups of lights in my home to specific switches for different rooms without living on the eternal struggle bus of clicking them all on and off one by one. It really goes to show that sometimes a creator really can be more help than a pain in the ass when it comes to their creations.
I'm grateful that Amelia reached out, thank you very much. For those hoping to spruce up their homes and make them feel more interactive without all the endless light clicking, I say give this a shot and don't be a dimwit like me, if you need help, reach out. You might just get yourself a few extra gems of valuable information in the long run as I did.
