The Temple of the Inscriptions of the ancient city in Mexico is one of the most famous buildings of the Maya.
It's walls are covered with one of the longest carved glyph's writings.
The construction of the temple began in 675 AD by the king of the Maya.
The temple sits upon nine levels of steps. The temple has five entrances, and the pillars that form the doorways are decorated with stucco imagery of the kings family members. The roof of the temple is decorated with a typical roof comb, a construction element of notable architecture. The Temple holds a secret concealed room of the king of the Maya. The temple and the pyramid are coated by a thick layer of red Mayan stucco building tradition.
