... why the fuck having that horrible hallo glowing chessy thing, why not just having the possibility of a black /white /plain background for the "vortex" ?

Perfect for what I was looking for and the sound effect on the portal reminds me of Half-Life, so that's 5 stars from me. Door also functions as described.
