Use photoshop or any graphic program make text on a transparency and just drop it on the prim with the text on sign after uploading your texture to SL sign.

Or remove the prim off the sign and place your own prim with text on and link prim.

Upload our texture as a temp to test your text looks the way you want it to before spending L$ on a text texture you would not be happy with.

If you need a link to a FREE graphic program to make your very own text there are many found online and many sites that make text totaly FREE of charge.

NOTE: No scripts no extra text with sign, you make your own texture and upload them and your self.
