A lot to love but a little bit of weirdness
I really, really love this mermaid tail and use it on Chonk. However, I find it really odd that the UV/textures for fins are different for the youth version and the toddler version, which means that you will need to be careful if you buy extra textures to check that they are made for your body. (hint: in the product photos, are the fins transparent and rounded or are they pointier and more solid?)
The included AO for the tail is helpful but a bit limited. For example, you will still be "flying" through the water because it contains no movement control like other mermaid AOs provide. Also using your own AO can cause some animations to not play nicely together (is the priority not high enough?) so you'll need to probably use one or the other.
Another note: If you've used older mer tails before, you're likely used to tails using the leg and foot joints to move the tail. This tail uses the bento tail bones instead, which means that old mer AOs will not move the tail along with the rest of the body and that you will need to use a tail animator (i made a very inexpensive one in my store)
Bento mer tails also have the disadvantage that most mer furniture was not made for them, which means you will want to use a tail positioner (I highly suggest this one https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/SKNK-Tail-Adjusting-HUD/19056975) to put your tail in the right place for pictures and poses.
All in all this is a gorgeously modeled and lovingly created tail, but has some quirks for those who wish to take up the mer lifestyle. If you want to learn more about being a mer, check out the Safe Water Foundation as well! :)
