The boat responds more like a real boat such as the faster you go, the more the bow of the boat rises out of the water. The slower you go, the tighter turns you can make.
The No Entry Zone Sensor (NES) system scans ahead of your boat looking for areas that limit access. It can be very frustrating to run into one of these areas and get dumped from your vehicle to the bottom of the ocean as you helplessly watch your boat continue on its merry way. The NES scans ahead a greater distance the faster you go so you won't be taken by surprise again. The NES can also stop your forward momentum before you get "stuck" and have to edit your boat back out.
Because there is no way to tell if an owner is allowed access to the restricted area, the alarm will set off the auto-stop feature. For this reason, the auto-stop feature can be disabled.
